Ditch Stock Photography
Ditch stock photos and take or use some of your own photography. People want to connect with your business when visiting online, so it should organically feel like your business. Photography is the easiest way of accomplishing this, and it doesn’t always have to be professional. Some of my most successful websites have featured photos taken with an iPhone. The photo above of Crane Beach, is unedited, and was taken by myself with an iPhone 6.
Also, it can save $$. Professional photography is great of course, but it can be expensive for a small business starting out.
Bottom line: be real with your photography and know stock photos are out.
